Ok a handy forum thread for anyone who want to discuss 1.9!
Something I do want to raise and leave open to you guys, is VIP abilities in the 'new' end.
We really appreciate our VIP's in any world, and any player who supports us in any way and that includes voters!
As part of being a VIP, some have access to fly and some also have god access.
One thing I have been thinking of, to make it much fairer, is to reduce some of these abilities in the end.
This would give players a 'fairer' shot at getting the glide wings and other goodies. I know this may seem a bit 'anti vip' but it is aimed to also to make it more fun for everyone, and may even push players to team up.
One thing I don't want is for 'day one' someone to use god+fly etc to go in and claim all the end goodies straight off,this is obviously going to upset a number of our players and devalue that world
We will be doing occasional, unannounced 'end resets', but again I don't want that to basically become a way of 'farming' end items for players who have a higher level of access than our other players.
This isn't a 'single out' of our VIP players, and in fact we have been adding additional 'perks' to these ranks in the background, as an ongoing process.
Hence some of our higher VIP ranks have gained real world value over what they originally donated for.
Obviously players could vote on the website and then gain access to fly in the end for a few days.
At the end of the day, we need ALL level of players to enjoy the server to make it worth playing here!
